Flashlight- For accidents at night
Wire Cutters- To free horses from fence or wire
Screwdriver- Lever
Knife- Cut tangled rope or caught halter
Hoof Pick- Clean hoof/examine for injuries dislodge stones
Bandage Scissors- Cutting off dressings
Thermometer- With string and alligator clip
10-15 Foot Cotton Rope- Instant halter, twitch
Skin Cleanser- Iodine (Betadine) Scrub- for minor cuts and scratches
Tape- 1" and 2" rolls
Sterile 4x4 Sponges or Teflon Pads- To apply medication
Non-sterile 4x4 Sponges- For washing wound or pressure on bleeding wounds
Leg Bandages- Quilted cotton or sheet cotton
Polo Wraps/Brown gauze/Vet wrap-Hold on leg wraps, put pressure on bleeding wounds
Topical Antibacterial
Granulex Spray- For deeper minor cuts, especially wounds below the knees and hocks
Roll Non-sterile Cotton-Pad around wound
Towels- To dry hands / equipment, as padding
