Dr. Schroer first told her mother that she wanted to be a veterinarian when she was six years old. Little did she know where that dream would take her . . . After finishing college at the University of Delaware she moved to California to pursue a graduate degree, then joined the Peace Corps and lived in Ecuador for two years before beginning veterinary school. A 2003 graduate of the veterinary medicine program at UC Davis, Sarah first worked at a mixed animal practice in the small town of Ferndale in Humboldt County. She joined the Cotati Large Animal Hospital in March, 2007. In her free time, Sarah enjoys riding her horse and touring the local countryside on her bicycle.
