Doctor Wood grew up in Marin County and spent his high school years working and volunteering at a large animal clinic in Pt. Reyes.  He earned his undergraduate degree from U.C. Davis and then went to veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin.  After graduating in 1992, Dr. Wood worked in Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento. After three-and-half years in the heat, Dr. Wood landed here at Cotati Large Animal Hospital.  Doctor Wood’s interests include equine reproduction and lameness. He is married with 2 girls and lives in Rohnert Park.
